My name is Olga Agafonova — I’m an illustrator based in Montreal, Canada, truly passionate about creating bright, cute, and joyful children’s illustrations and characters.
I have over 10 years of experience as a web designer, but my love for drawing began in childhood. After graduating from a fine arts school, where I studied classical drawing, painting, and sculpture, art has always been an essential part of my life. The birth of my daughter became the turning point that led me to fully embrace illustration. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to illustrate more than 15 children’s books.
I’m especially inspired by creating books for very young readers, where pictures often tell the story before words do. My joyful characters always make me smile while I draw them — and I hope they bring the same happiness to children and their parents.
I find inspiration in everyday life, always keeping a touch of childhood curiosity that helps me create illustrations full of warmth, curiosity, and imagination.
